Re: USS Tremor

This is beautiful. One minor issue: The big alien door seems to have occlusion problems, but it's difficult to find the right spot. I assume it's a map bug. Maybe not. Lights and buildings mistakenly occluded: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19279604/temp/bad.png Works again after moving slightl...

Re: Camping is NOT a choice

My human tends to lose when forced to camp. Few players + many paths makes it impossible to maintain pressure.
Leave for 1 minute, lose 2 buildables.

That said,

  1. I need to play dev games
  2. Siege / skirmish support grangers
  3. Bring back the hovel

Re: Idea: Illuminatus Alien

This is a great idea. The beak is very good.
I also agree with bee vision.

This pretty much solves the age-old camping problem. So I guess we don't really need things like map hazards/the hovel to keep the aliens entertained.

Re: Why is this game so fast?

I feel like Trem had servers with reduced speed for the newer folk.
Or was it the opposite...

Yeah, definitely the opposite.

Personally I love the speed. But when I started it was absolutely nuts, basically everything stated by the OP.

Re: Alpha 24 – download at your peril (probably)

Had the same problem as DwarfVader. New package did indeed fix it  I'm also getting competitive framerate + all sorts of shaders I've never seen before. Must have been some ridiculous settings that were purged upon deleting .unvanquished. Noticed that Yocto is clicking wildly & some ser...

Re: FRIDAY NIGHT UNVANQUISHED

Add two. But any night is good for us. I know some people prefer to get hammered on Fridays.
I haven't seen a real match since the summer tourney, unless you count all the 2v1 granger rushes...

Re: Our new jetpack

Gotta say I'm really loving the new jetpack. Adds a whole new level of action to the painsaw.
Previously I was just buying it to waste creds / be a moron.

Now about those battery packs...
