unfortunately i only played about 20 minutes worth of games towards the end this weekend, i still stand next to most of my opinions from last time. free upgrades 1 definitely felt more fun. i still think lack of stamina/sprint is damaging, but i definitely don't want a flat human movement speed incr...

i haven't played enough games to really give a good opinion on all of these, but hear's my initial thoughts. free upgrades: while i assumed at first this would be a train wreck and just not fun wen first approved, i was very proven wrong after my first game with it. i loved the change in pace it bro...

http://i.cubeupload.com/ntg9fV.png another quick test, though, after playing around with color options for a while, the problem seems to be the in game lighting/shadowing as well, models don't cast shadows on them selves properly to create the more realistic "blending in" with the environ...

i'm not too opposed to this, but it's obvioulsy a very very very longterm goal. i'm not too fond of splitting playerbases, but i'm also greatly fond of giving players choices.

Fundamental problems require radical changes, and (speaking from experience) it's better to do them before anyone has gotten the expectation of stability. And If you're afraid to make big changes then you'll never know if you're actually reaching "maximum potential" or just a local maxima...

i think the concept for the relationship of "currencies" and progression need some updating, but removing credits/evos would be detrimental towards the real time [ strategy ] part of the game that makes it unique. this change would be great for just a deathmath type game (which all your ex...

i like the idea of nodes becoming teleporters and choosing where to spawn/teleport using the minimap. aliens by definition have a lot more mobility than humans, and can typically transverse maps a lot quicker, so this sounds like it could be quite interesting. forward bases would have to be forced t...
