We need abilities that are actually useful in specific situations I believe it's already been stated on this thread that such an ability would be useful for escaping into vents, protecting you from goons and tyrants. I've been thinking about this one, and have come up with a more polished idea. Slide does not cause humans to accelerate, and amounts to little more than crouching while maintaining a little bit of speed. A slide should only take you far enough to escape a large alien through a vent - not far at all...

I prefer to have FF on. I find it more fun/realistic, and personally find people that prefer if off big, huge wimps :D I recall a thread where one guy was complaining about another guy who kept jumping in front of his luci shots with FF off, causing them to blow up in his face. I think you guys (the developers, not everyone in this thread) need to be more bold. I understand that you're worried about balance issues, but the game is still in alpha - you can afford to screw up the balance. It's best to get these things tested and tweaked while the player base is next to nonex...
