webp file format?

Post by icaro440 »

Hello again, I have been making some progress in the use of radiant, but now im stuck.

There are a few textures I like , these textures are in the map thunder.

I opened the pk3 file and looked for the textures, but I realized that all these files have the extension ". Webp"

the question is:

How do i open these textures to edit? The Gimp does not do this ...

Do I need Photoshop or some other proprietary software?

Hello, webp is a new image file format which gives a compression ratio 30% to 40% than jpeg. It seems you can open it with gimp by installing this plugin.
