Please don't take the silhouettes away

I've head that librocket update will take the silhouettes on the background away. I think the current background has a great concept, but bad implementation. I've made some test renders in Blender (I need dretch, human and SMG models to finish them properly):
With sun:
With overbright nebula:
I think it can look majestic if done like that but by a professional.
