Tried running the game, but the menu kept freezing and behaving strangely.Come to think of it, I'm not even sure if SDL 2 is installed on this Linux Mint box at all, or if it is on the repos.

The unvanquished .debs depend on libsdl2-2.0-0 where available, libsdl1.2debian otherwise. At present, SDL 2 is, regarding Debian, Ubuntu and derivatives, so far as I'm aware, only found in Debian testing and unstable and Ubuntu 13.10; it seems likely that you'll be using 1.2.
Debian and Ubuntu packages (squeeze, wheezy, sid; 12.04, 12.10, 13.04) may work on derivatives

Guys. I didn't enjoy for me still Tremulous so much since it unofficially died couple years ago. It is time to adopt for me the new name, because it fully deserve it. I got tears in my eyes and old memories coming back when I played with bots. So, thank you guys for effort you all putting in it. Thank you so much.
