Weapon Sounds

Post by Ivancool »

My first sample of the Rifle reload sound. Needs some sync but it's mostly ok.

I'm sorry but it's terrible. Sounds the same as when I reload my stapler.

PD:No staplers this time, just real life 9mm and .12 shells. :-)

Who cares. Reloading sounds is just metal and plastic clicking together.
I can make excellent gunshot sounds by simply erm... spitting without actually "spitting" water out onto my 8-year old phone microphone. Just a blast of air.

Wolfenstein 3d uses a snare drum for its firing sound.

Yeah, that's true. Keep trying, your sounds are much better than anything I could ever make.
