Hey everyone! I am somewhat new to the unvanquished community. I just recently downloaded the game for mac, and i was able to open it and play it. However, as i ran it, i saw that it took about 5 minutes just to pull up the main screen. Realizing that this was probably my first startup, and it was getting a lot of things in order, but as i clicked server listings, it took quite a long time with that too. I clicked the training server, and it started loading. It took a while, so i went back into my room and started watching tv. About 15 minutes later, it had only progressed to 60%. I waited it out, and as i joined the server i tried to lower graphics, turn off things etc. to try and get a better fps. Any tips on helping the game run faster?
