Have the drill require a repeater built within a certain radius to operate. It's a little too "OP" at the moment how it can be built just anywhere.

I think alien buildables just need a health pool buff in general. Alien bases just goes down so easily and are actually quite difficult to expand compared to human bases (which is the opposite of Tremulous, which is very campy on the human side).

This feature will promote expanding and rushing the enemy base, while the crippled will suffer more. It's actually a little based off NS2's extractor/havester concept honestly. I also thought the human player model looks a bit funky. His head is too large for his body. Proportion wise, (total height) / (height of human head) = around 7 for a fully grown adult. The current player model is around 5 head height making him look like an overgrown child. Never came up to my min...

When you say TDW style, there is an old tremulous map series called Tremulous Tower Defence Wars. Players can't do anything once in the TDW area above the enemy base but run until they reach the center.
