Re: General Feedback, competitive vs casual

Scrims are fun with aggressive teams. Playing against teams with a "win-at-all-costs" mentality (including camping for 45 min) is a rather draining experience.

Re: Delete of .pk3 files?

It only deletes them in fs_homepath. Those are in fs_basepath don't do any harm as long as you have the latest vms there as well.

Re: Delete of .pk3 files?

vms-{version}.pk3, where version is any version older than the current version. There are only old files if we release a hotfix update in the middle of the month to fix critical or blatant bugs.

Re: Linux segmentation fault

Also, installing Linux drivers from AMD is probably not the best idea. It is best to install drivers from your distro's repositories where you know they will be set up properly.

Re: Minimap?

@ViruS: q3map2 -minimap /path/to/bsp

@everyone else: Yeah, that's the conclusion we came to ourselves. Perhaps show a larger minimap that is bound to a key and can be brought up momentarily, much like pressing tab to display score, and display nearby stuff on your actual minimap.
